Polaris provides extensive support to clubs in **organizing**, **executing**, and **documenting** these events, significantly contributing to a contemporary, digital club experience. Members can easily register for events online, manage their attendance, and check who else has confirmed or declined. During the registration process, specific questions can be asked – such as regarding meal preferences, seating categories, or special needs. [Online payment](/polaris/docs/online-payment-features) options for events with participation fees are also possible. The **entire communication** regarding events is managed centrally through Polaris: Invitations can be sent directly from the system, including automatic reminders – for instance, as the registration deadline approaches. Furthermore, it can now be configured so that only those members who have been explicitly added to the participant list can register – perfect for events with limited access or special invitations. The attendance (presence) is recorded manually or through QR code scanning, which **simplifies** management and **enhances** tracking transparency. Additionally, minutes, weekly reports, photos, and files can be directly attached to the events – well-organized, accessible at any time, and verifiable for all members. Polaris thus supports the entire [life cycle of an event](/polaris/docs/life-cycle-of-an-event) – from planning and communication to follow-up – thereby establishing the foundation for **effective event management**, **clear** **processes**, and **comprehensive documentation** in the daily operations of Rotary (or Inner Wheel).
