A secure password is essential for logging into Polaris, ensuring that only authorized users can access your account and protecting your data from unauthorized access.

How do I change my password?

To accomplish this, either select your name in the upper right corner or choose “Navigation” and then click on MY SETTINGS > Modify my password from the left-hand menu.

You will need to input your existing password along with your new password (entered twice). Be sure to adhere to the outlined password policy.

NOTE

The new password must contain at least one number (0-9), one uppercase character, and one special character (+*%&()?!$][{}<>\/§£=).

What to do, if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, visit the login page and click on the “I forgot my password” button at the bottom. Then, enter your email address, and after submitting, you will receive an email to set a new password.

NOTE

Changing the password for Polaris does not affect the password for my.rotary.org, and the same applies in reverse – these are two separate systems with distinct login credentials, even if you use the same email address for both systems.

Why do I sometimes have to change my password when logging in?

Users who have the right to manage member data in Polaris are required to change their password annually.
