Polaris support to Interact Community

From now on, Polaris also supports the Interact Community as a part of the Rotary family. Read more about Interact clubs their purpose and organization at Rotary International.

Within Polaris, Interact community is treated similarly as Rotaract community. Following restrictions apply to Interact clubs:

  • The birthday of newly created members is either missing, or in the range of 13 to 18 years in the past.

  • Interact members cannot change their personal data themself. This must be done by a person having the respective administrator role in the club.

  • All personal data of newly created members have the flag "Visible only to members of my club" set. This means, that there are not visible by members of other clubs.

  • When transferring a member to an Interact club, the flag "Visible only to members of my club" is automatically set for all data.

  • When transferring a member from an Interact club, these flags remain set.

NOTE

Members of Interact clubs could be created as Active Members, Prospects or Other Contacts. Please remember that:

  • Active Members and prospects have access to personal data of all other Rotary, Rotaract and Interact members of the same Polaris instance, i.e. usually one country.

  • Other Contacts have only access to personal data of the members of the same club.
